Hope for Atlantic City is a Christian Community Development Association that engages, invests in and empowers our neighbors to restore dignity and bring economic stability to our community for the glory of God through Jesus Christ.
Internship Overview
The Hope for AC internship runs for eight weeks, from the end of June to mid August. Interns raise their own support and live with a family from church or another Christian family in the area. Food and housing is covered by the ministry but whatever interns want/need to get paid they raise just like any other missionary support. Hope for AC is looking for college aged folks (18-22) but will look at a mature graduating senior from HS. This internship can be good for all sorts of people. Probably most helpful for those interested in going into some type of full time ministry, those who want to know what inner city/cross cultural ministry is like, social work majors or those entering similar fields of study and work, etc.
